About Transco Industries

Setting the Standard for over 60 Years

Our History

Transco Industries started in 1961 as a Conveyor Service Company. Jack Brown was a sales and service man employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Goodyear was pulling out of the Conveyor Belt Service business in the Pacific Northwest and Jack decided to start Transco Industries with an associate Mead Lofland. In 1961 the two men came together as partners and started Transco Industries together. Transco grew quickly and opened a shop in Seattle Washington. Transco focused on servicing the burgeoning Sawmill, Grain, Paper & Pulp, and Sand & Gravel industries in the Pacific Northwest.

In 1995 Jeff and Jason Brown (Jack's sons) began their history at the controls of Transco Industries. Since 1961 Transco has stayed true to its Conveyor Services roots. Transco now boasts fully staffed operating offices in Alaska, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah as well as Oregon and Washington. Transco is the largest Conveyor Service Company in the Western United States, and we intend to keep growing. Bigger, Better, Stronger...
